Orlando's Favorite Midnight Snack

Here's a fun Orli fact for the day, his favorite midnight snack food is oatmeal! Now I would never think of having oatmeal as a midnight snack, but it's basically like having a really early breakfast! So to share in Orlando's quirky craving, here is a recipe for oatmeal! Enjoy!
(This recipe comes from allrecipes.com)
Apple Cinnamon Raisin Oatmeal: You will need - two cups of water, 2 teaspoons brown sugar, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 2 tablespoons maple syrup, 1 cup uncooked rolled oats, 2 tablespoons raisins, and 1 peeled apple.

1) In a medium sized saucepan, combine the water, brown sugar, cinnamon, and syrup. Heat the mixture to a boil.
2) When water is at a boil, reduce heat and add the oats. Cook for about five minutes, or wait until the oats are soaked with the water. Remove off heat, and stir in apples and raisins. Creamy Apple Cinnamon Raisin Oatmeal Recipe

The Daily Orlando: Orlando at the Zulu Premiere in Germany

On Monday, May 5th, Orlando attended the Zulu premiere in Hamburg, Germany. He looked amazing as always, in a navy blue suite and yellow tie. I love that he's growing his hair out, it looks so good, and is very reminiscent of when he grew it out for Pirates. He arrived on a fancy motorcycle, (sorry I don't speak car and driver), and proceeded to take pictures with fans and sign autographs. He even gave a bouquet of flowers to one of his fans in gratitude. So cute! Even after 10 years after his rise to fame, there are still legions of Orli fans! Click to view full size imageClick to view full size image

The Orlando Quote of the Day

Once again, here is the Orlando quote of the day! This one is actually from the dashing and brave Will Turner in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. Enjoy!

"I keep the promises I make, Jack. I intend to free my father. I hope you're here to see it."

The Orli (Radio) Interview of the Week

Here is the Orli interview of the week! I found this yesterday on the ka-bloom fan forum and thought it was great! This is a radio interview over the phone on the Polly and Grant show. Orlando talks about his experience from New Zealand when he filmed LOTR, being a father and getting his star on the Hollywood Walk of fame. He also talked about WeDay and gave a shout out to San Francisco. It was technically held in Oakland, but it's still the San Francisco metropolitan area! I was so happy to hear that, San Fran pride! I loved how he said it too! Anyways, this was a really cute interview, that featured his wonderful and sweet personality!

The Daily Orlando: Orlando to Co-Star in a New Film Set for 2015

I literally just saw this news about 25 minutes ago on the ka-bloom fan site, and I'm soo excited to share that Orlando is going to co-star in a film called 'Digging for Fire'. Also staring in this film is Anna Kendrick and Bri Larson, and is directed by indi film maker Joe Swanberg. It is currently in post-production, so the plot of the movie is still unknown, as well as Orlando's role. However, my best guess is that it will be a grittier role, since Orlando mentioned in a London Times Magazine article, that he is going to try to step away from family friendly roles, and stretch his acting legs in different, grittier roles, such as his role as an alcoholic cop in Zulu. So excited though, that he has some new movies in the works!

Fan Girl Fun: Orlando's Fav Starbucks Drink

So when I got my special edition of Life Story magazine about Orlando, they said that his favorite Starbucks drink was a soy Chai tea latte. I'm not really a fan of chai tea, it's a bit to spicy for me, but I just had to try this drink anyways, so I went to Starbucks, and got myself one. It is soo yummy! The soy milk is a perfect combination with the chai tea! It also has less calories than a mocha or frappicino. So next time your in Starbucks, give Orlando's fav drink a try, he has good taste! (They also have iced chai tea latte's if you prefer!)

The Orlando Quote of the Day

Here is the Orlando quote of the day! This quote is from an interview he did for CQ magazine, in the November 2005 issue.

"But that accident has informed everything in my life... Until you're close to loosing it, you don't realize. I use to ride motorbikes and drive cars like everything was a racetrack; it was ridiculous. It wasn't because I thought it was cool; it was just because I loved living on the edge. But I've chilled."
